Frame your application in terms of the your own individual narrative and creative practice, rather than that of the organization. Of course, if your whole creative effort is invested in the work of an organization your run, those are not easy to distinguish between. In addition, your organization may play a significant role in the community commitment you will be asked to demonstrate.
The reviewers will be interested in the contributions and accomplishments of the individual applicant and the award will recognize that artist as an arts leader in their communities. Your application offers them an opportunity to learn what community service and support means to you.
