The BIPOC Arts Network and Fund prioritizes artists and organizations who have demonstrated a long-term investment in this city and the thriving of our communities.
The artist award is intended for current residents of the Houston area, and the 9-county region must currently be the primary focus of their service and support. The residency requirement must be both current and continuous for a minimum of two years.
The 9-county Greater Houston Region includes:
- Austin County
- Brazoria County
- Chambers County
- Fort Bend County
- Galveston County
- Harris County
- Liberty County
- Montgomery County
- Waller Counties
